SGM BALEMASTER Round Bale Spike/Unroller
A COMBINED round bale spike/unroller feeder can both stack and transport bales in the summer, and feed out/unroll bales in the winter. Each bale unit comprises a set of three tines mounted on a rotating plate. Rotating power comes from hydraulic motors, which each need a double acting supply from the tractor.
Aimed primarily at farmers who out-winter their stock, the SGM Engineering twin-motor feed out/unroller - a single motor double bale spike is also available - can either be rear mounted on a tractor's three point linkage or adapted to fit on a loader.
FEATURES
- Hydraulic motor revolves bale in both directions, enabling bales to easily unroll in the reverse direction to which they were formed
- Typical speed range of rotation is 5-25 rpm
- Single and Twin bale versions available
- Direct drive through reduction gearbox(s) eliminate backlash when dealing with misshapen bales
- Improved quality of life - reduces material contact and danger from animals
- Hard chromed 2 1/2" (63.5mm) diameter main pivot shaft mounted in a continuous bearing material ideally suited to agricultural environments - long life, low maintenance
- Cost saving - One man, one tractor operation, no need to interchange switching operations
- Dual purpose - can both stack and transport bales in the summer, and feed out/unroll bales in the winter
- Fits tractor 3 point linkage or fitted with relevant brackets for loader
- Cross line relief valve absorbs start-up torque and protects the machine with soft start/stops
- Grease point fitted on main bearing housing
- Machines are supplied with 1.5m of hose and 1/2" male probe quick release couplings (alternatives can be supplied to suit different configurations)
- Kverneland tines mounted in purpose made HD tapered tine seating collars
- Should only one spool valve be available, a manually controlled diverter valve allows single spool operation
* Frame Ends Hitch Points. Reduced effective weight (centre of gravity) makes this attachment suitable for smaller tractors.
- Continuous quality welding
- Crossline relief valve protects the machine
